Built in partnership with Sonnet—a leading manufacturer in the realm of durable chassis—this rackmount unit can house a single HDX PCIe card (available separately) and a Mac mini, in a compact 1 RU form factor. It offers a portable solution that lets you use Avid's industry-standard DSP-accelerated system without being tied to a PCIe-equipped computer and securely move your Pro Tools | HDX system anywhere the job takes you.
This chassis features two Thunderbolt 3 ports, one for computer connectivity and another for daisy-chaining up to five Thunderbolt-compatible devices, making the unit a hub for external DSP or other peripherals if need be. You also have access to a USB 3.0 port on the front panel.
