Focusrite Pro RedNet A16R MkII 16-CH Analogue Audio Interface w/ Dante
Description
Equip your Dante audio network with 16 channels of premium analogue line-level I/O with the Focusrite RedNet A16R MkII , a rackmount 16x16 Dante analogue audio interface offering adjustable levels, high-performance 24-bit / 192 kHz convertors, and comprehensive remote control options for professional engineers in every environment from broadcast and touring applications, to the studio, to the dub stage.
With DB25 connectors providing 16 channels of balanced analogue line-level audio to and from the Dante audio network, the A16R MkII is ideal for merging external mic preamps, mixer channels, and cue systems with a Dante network. Primary and secondary Dante connectivity is available on dual locking etherCON ports.
In addition to the main analogue inputs and outputs, the RedNet A16R MkII features stereo AES3 I/O on XLR jacks and dual sample rate convertors for the AES3 inputs. To allow synchronisation with a wide range of external sources and hardware, the interface includes BNC wordclock input and output ports and support for DARS (Digital Audio Reference Signal) through the XLR input.
The RedNet A16R MkII is fitted with two separate power supplies with auto-switchover capability to maintain reliable operation in the event of a failure. Plus, locking IEC inlets on the rear of the unit prevent unintended power cable disconnection at the interface. Power-supply status is indicated both remotely and on the front panel. Additionally, the interface features a rugged, roadworthy exterior that occupies just 1 RU of rack space.
A premium bonus is the Brainworx bx_console Focusrite SC channel-strip plug-in, a stellar digital emulation of the legendary and rare Focusrite Studio Console. Only 10 of the consoles were ever produced, but you can access its famed sound directly in your DAW.
