The LUMIX S5IIX is the first full frame mirrorless camera to enable SSD external recording via USB for improved workflow. In addition, ProRes 422 HQ and All-Intra offer better efficiency in post-production.
Go live anytime, anywhere
The S5IIX features a wide range of streaming options* including direct streaming to platform via RTMP/RTMPS to your favourite social media platforms. The camera can also stream via LAN or WiFi direct to broadcast software.
*Platforms cannot be guaranteed and live streaming reliability is highly dependent on Internet speed/latency or other factors. USB-C to LAN adaptor (third party) is required for the LAN connection.
Phase Hybrid AutoFocus
The new Phase Hybrid Autofocus is fast, accurate and continuously tracks the subject in video, meeting the demands of professional content creators. The LUMIX S5IIX has you covered even in the most challenging situations such as low-light and backlit scenes.
Smooth Stabilisation with Active I.S. Technology
The new Active I.S. Technology lets videographers capture steady handheld shots while walking or running, without the need for a gimbal. The IS Boost function is available to replicate tripod like images while shooting handheld. The new system automatically compensates for a wider range of camera shake resulting in up to 200%* improvement.

Proxy video recording
This new feature records a low bit-rate proxy file when recording video. Simultaneously recording a proxy file that is linked with the original video recording enabling a faster delivery from production to post.
Heat management for unlimited recording time
The LUMIX S5IIX retains its compact size with a fan mechanism concealed behind the viewfinder which improves reliability and performance. The new optimised heat dissipation enables continuous recording* even when shooting in high frame rates and intensive codecs. Ideal for long takes such as interviews and suitable for hot weather conditions.
*The camera may stop recording when used in a temperature that is lower or higher than the recommended operating temperature (0 to 40 degrees). Recording stops when the continuous recording time exceeds 30 minutes in [6K/29.97p] [6K/25.00p] [5.9K/29.97p] [5.9K/25.00p] when Thermal Management mode is set to Standard.

The brand new image processor in the S5IIX with advanced 3D noise reduction and Intelligent Detailed Processing allows for true-to-life colours, outstanding resolution with minimal image noise in low light environments. The Dual Native ISO sensor captures more dynamic range in both photos and videos even in any light.
In camera colour workflow with REAL TIME LUTS
LUMIX S5IIX gives you the ability to add your favourite LUTs directly into the camera event when live streaming. Get your preferred look instantly without the need to edit your photos and videos.
