A single LTO drive enables you to read and write to a single tape, streamlining system access and management capabilities. Dual Thunderbolt 3 ports can handle data transfer speeds up to 300 MB/s, ensuring your most important information is copied over efficiently and accurately. You can also daisy-chain multiple LTO drives for a larger copying array while saving room on your desktop. This drive supports LTO 8 and 9 tapes with a maximum storage capacity of 18TB, giving you ample room for your data. The included Hedge Canister macOS app is a Linear Tape File System (LTFS) that enables you to easily drag and drop content, offering a seamless file management experience similar to traditional storage drive interfaces. Multiple third-party software applications offer support on macOS devices.
Hedge Canister App
Canister is a simple drag-and-drop Linear Tape File System (LTFS) archiving and retrieval app for macOS. Canister supports archiving up to two LTOs while creating searchable catalogs for every tape, streamlining file retrieval. Canister also includes an in-app console and xxHash64 verification to ensure an exact replica of your source is copied to LTO.

mRack is compatible with industry leading LTO archiving and media management software for macOS including Axle Video, Archiware, Imagine Products, and more.
TAA Compliant
TAA compliance ensures that the LTO drive meets all standards and regulations set forth by the Trade Agreements Act, meaning all products must be manufactured or substantially transformed in the United States or a TAA-designated country, making this device suitable for government contracts and other environments where security is important.
