Bitwig Studio 5 is OUT NOW and it introduces five new MSEGs.
Developing this family of modulators and modules led to a major upgrade for entire modulation system. In version 5, modulators can do more, like control track- and project-level parameters and expand into pop-out windows. Bitwig also created new ways to perform live with new software, and overhauled the browsers to make it easy to find what you need.

While Essentials and Producer don’t have access to all 154 devices and instruments found in Bitwig Studio, users can still load and play off limits devices as presets in 'Player Mode' without modifying the settings or adding modulators (the devices will appear in a greyed-out state). This allows users with different versions to share and work on project files.
Essentials provides curated feature sets to match your needs. For example, Essentials has a solid starting lineup of 40 instruments, audio and note FX — including their semi-modular synth Polymer and Delay+. It also has a starter modulation system with 10 modulators and an essential library of sounds, loops and presets.
